Applicability: These terms apply to all applicants, registered students, and users of the University’s online platforms.
1. Introduction and Acceptance
1.1. By accessing the University’s website, submitting an application, or registering for a course, you (the “Student”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must accept these terms on your behalf.
1.3. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the University.

3. Admission and Registration
3.1. Accuracy of Information: You warrant that all information provided during application and registration is true, accurate, and complete. Providing fraudulent documentation is a criminal offense and will lead to immediate expulsion.
3.2. Admission Criteria: Admission is subject to meeting the minimum academic requirements and the availability of space in the program.
3.3. Registration Status: You are only considered a registered student once you have received written confirmation and the required initial fees have been paid.
4. Fees and Payment (CPA Compliance)
4.1. Fee Structure: All tuition fees, registration fees, and other charges are clearly outlined on our website and in your proforma invoice.
4.2. Payment Obligations: By registering, you assume full responsibility for the payment of all fees by the specified due dates, regardless of whether a third party (e.g., a sponsor or employer) is paying on your behalf.
4.3. Arrears: The University reserves the right to withhold academic results, certificates, and access to the Learning Management System (LMS) if your account is in arrears.
4.4. Annual Increases: The University reserves the right to increase tuition fees annually, typically in line with inflation and institutional requirements.
5. Cancellations and Refunds (Section 17 of the CPA)
5.1. Cooling-Off Period: In accordance with the ECTA, if you registered via electronic communication, you have a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of registration to cancel without penalty, provided no course materials have been accessed.
5.2. Standard Cancellations: Cancellations made after the cooling-off period but before the start of the semester may incur a reasonable administrative cancellation fee.
5.3. Non-Refundable Fees: Registration and application fees are non-refundable.
6. Academic Integrity and Conduct
6.1. Plagiarism: The University maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and academic dishonesty.
6.2. Code of Conduct: Students must adhere to the University’s Code of Conduct, which prohibits harassment, hate speech, and disruptive behavior on all digital platforms.
6.3. Proctoring: For examination integrity, the University may use biometric or remote proctoring technology. Consent for this is a prerequisite for exam entry.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. Ownership: All course materials, videos, graphics, and software provided by the University remain the intellectual property of the University or its licensors.
7.2. License to Student: Students are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. Redistribution of course content is strictly prohibited.
8. Technology Requirements and Access
8.1. Connectivity: As an online institution, it is the Student’s responsibility to ensure they have access to a stable internet connection and a compatible device.
8.2. System Maintenance: The University reserves the right to perform scheduled maintenance on the LMS. We will strive to provide 48 hours’ notice for any planned downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
9.1. To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act, the University shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from technical failures, loss of data, or the Student’s inability to access the online platform.
9.2. You indemnify the University against any claims resulting from your breach of these Terms or your infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Privacy and Data Protection (POPIA)
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By accepting these terms, you consent to the University processing your data for academic and administrative purposes.
11. Breach of Agreement
Failure to comply with any of these terms may result in:

Legal action for the recovery of outstanding fees.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
